  1. go to Google Calendar on the web
  2. Choose "Other calendars"
  3. In the dropdown menu, choose "Add by URL"
  4. Insert the URL of your choice
  5. on Settings / Accounts & sync -> select your account, check the "Sync Calendar" option.

Website Updated for 2012

Picture 0 for Website Updated for 2012
The website has recently been updated "under the hood". I am working to fix a few areas that I know are busted, but if you spot something, feel free to let me know. I've tried to update the menu bar to make things easier to find and also the Downloads area will look very different and hopefully be easier to navigate. Photos have been removed (for now at least) and the calendar will be updated again in the near future with a slightly different look. I am also looking for some ideas on how to integrate facebook with this site a bit closer and also considering twitter. If you have any ideas on how this website could serve you better, please let me know!

Site Redesign Finally Up and Running!

Posted by Mr. H on Apr 13, 2009 - 06:22 AM  •  Filed under: sitenews
Well, here it is! The new Site design is finally up and running. There are still a few kinks to work out here and there, but most things should be at least as good as they were and some areas are even better!

You'll notice a few changes:

- new drop-down login box

- new Private message system with new notification in header

- new ability to share stories on facebook, myspace, etc

- new "look" (skin/theme/etc)

plus some other things I can't think of right now.

If you notice a problem with anything, feel free to leave a comment on this story and I'll see what I can do.

FYI - I'm aware of the photo album problems...

UPDATE 4/15: I have fixed the photo album problem and also the avatar problem in the forum.

I also added the ability to choose your own avatar and upload your own if you wish - check your account page...

Downloads Area Upgraded

Posted by Mr. H on Jan 15, 2007 - 10:32 AM  •  Filed under: sitenews
For a few months our downloads area has been non-functional due to an incompatibility between software on the site. Today (on our snowday) I took advantage of my extra time to upgrade the downloads software and now it is once again functional! Please download to your heart's content! Please do take the time to check out the Instrument Resources that were posted this past summer.

Site Additions

If you haven't been paying attention recently, you may have missed a few things added to the website recently.

First, Joe has posted hundreds of photos from Band Camp 2006 to our Photo Album. Be sure to leave a comment or two - that's the fun part :-)

Second, the Web Links area of the site has been expanded and reorganized. There is now a section specifically related to each major instrument group. Remember that you can rate web links and you can also submit your own.

Third, the download area is also undergoing reorganization. Recently, I added an area for Instrument-Specific Downloads. The initial offerings include notes I took and some information from college professors at CMU. If you have information that you'd like to share with others, please let me know!

The Links and Downloads areas were redone as part of a college class I took at the beginning of summmer. I received an 'A' for my work - check it out!
